This all stemmed from trying to find a way to preserve my 2007 Halo 3 Mountain Dew can. At the same time I was looking to build a phone charger for my desk so I figured why not combine these 2 projects! When I built this originally the wireless charger worked on all the current phones that had that ability. Fast forward 6 months when I got a new phone and the camera made the back of the phone stick off the stand to much meaning the wireless charger couldn’t work properly. While that was a bummer it still sits on my desk because I like the look of it. Plus I was able to successfully preserve my nostalgic soda can which may get ripped out of this for something else later on, so that was the real win from this project.
