The place where everyone of my projects starts, whether its sketching up new ideas, 3d modeling, or editing videos it all originates from this desk. This has definitely been the most useful thing I have built for myself and is my main workstation. It’s only flaw is that after a few years the epoxy finish has started to yellow which you can see in this photo. White is the worst color to put a clear coat of epoxy on, and for that reason I have learned to not do that again. Also any type of heat on the surface will start to make the epoxy yellow which I learned the hard way. Besides that and not really using the sour patch kids dispenser I have no complaints and this has worked exactly as intended. I do plan to make a new one in the next couple of years to switch things up and to add even more features. Building custom desks is something I really enjoy and I hope to build more in the future especially for other people.
