Ok so this one was made for the Maker Alliance Summer Camp event where we were doing an 80’s themed escape room. Me being the Alien nut that I am there was no question on what movie my escape room puzzle was going to be based off of. This acted as the security system in the room so when someone messed with the Arc of the Covenant this would go off and sound the “self destruct sequence”. This whole project was based on the the same self destruct box from the first movie but I also drew inspiration from the game Alien Isolation making the screen portion look like the save station. It took me a whopping 14 hours just to wire this thing up so this was by far my most complicated project I had made but it was a great challenge. Thankfully my buddy Andrew was able to hook me up with the majority of the code for the micro controllers since this project was so in depth.
